HEADS 106.4FM is our own locally owned and operated radio station covering all of coastal Bream Bay, from Marsden Cove to Pakiri, and, and streaming live to the world online via Facebook and Tunein.com.
It broadcasts not from Orewa, not from Whangarei, not from Auckland, but from Mangawhai Heads!! And foreigners do NOT own it! Mark Perry is one of New Zealand’s most experienced broadcasters, and was an award winning Radio Hauraki “Morning Pirate” for over eight years, he also programmed Air New Zealand’s In Flight Classic Hits Channel. He currently does two weekend air shifts on The Sound network. Mark has chosen lower Northland as a place to live and set up his very own radio stations, HEADS 106.4FM and recently THE WIRELESS 90.4FM.
