The Waipu Business and Community Society is very active in the local community
The Waipu Business and Community Society was formed many years ago and has over the years been very active in working with local businesses to promote Waipu as a destination.
It has primarily focused on promoting the village with a series of eye-catching events and these include:
• Waipu Santa Parade
• Long weekend Street Galas/markets
• Waipu in Tartan
The Waipu Business and Community Society are constantly engaged in other promotional activities within the community. This year the group are looking to bring more focus on networking which will enable local businesses to have a complete understanding of how the local business community works.
The Waipu Business and Community Society organises 4 markets per year at Holiday long Weekends – funds generated go towards Waipu promotions and the very popular Christmas Santa Parade. Waipu Business and Community Society are looking for helpers to assist with Street markets and the Christmas Santa Parade – if you can help email email@example.com
